It's your birthday, Izzi! It's not everyday that you turn 21, so woohoo!

The main element of your birthday gift is not one, but two PADI specialty courses: Deep Diver and Nitrox. Both of these will increase the pleasure you get from the Egypt liveaboard in September / October.

Nitrox will increase the time you can dive at any particular depth versus diving on just air. I imagine that many in the group will be diving on Nitrox, so you won't want to cut short your, or anyone else's dive, just because you're not Nitrox qualified.

The Deep Diver course will take your 30m Advanced Open Water limit and increase it to 40m, which will enable you to visit all the same sites that the rest of the group will have access to during our trip.

You can undertake these courses anywhere and anytime that suits (i.e. whenever you might be diving this year.) If we get to the liveaboard and you haven't done the courses, you can do them onboard, so don't worry about trying to squeeze in another dive trip if you can't afford it.
